Restaurant Manager Full-time position
Alexandria, VA Manage restaurant operations including overseeing inventory, customer service, and accounting for the restaurant. Ensure the restaurant achieves its sales goals and business growth. Train the restaurant team to deliver the best customer experience, establish a positive relationship with customers, while promoting the business by informing the customers of new offerings and current deals. Oversee day-to-day restaurant activities, including kitchen and food service staff, and lead the team to deliver a profitable restaurant business plan. Review accounting records, sales and activity reports to assess productivity of the business and need for improvements. Manage restaurant budget for daily operations. Communicate with staff about the restaurants overall mission and direction. Manage staff to ensure compliance with all legal policies and procedures. Monitor that safety and cleanliness standards are maintained throughout the restaurant. Conduct business with suppliers to restock supplies adhering to budgets set by ownership and the restaurants quality standards.
Required experience and education: At least 12 months of proven experience as a Manager, Restaurant Manager, or in any related occupation. Minimum bachelor’s degree in Management, Business administration, or any related field of study.
